2015 SWAC Basketball Signings (Early & Late)

As a SU basketball fan and a supporter of all SWAC schools sometimes its hard to dig signing information out of the school's local media market or the school's SID itself. It would be nice to know who are some of the incoming talented athletes that are choosing our conference and celebrate them like other conferences do. I'm talking about SIGNINGS (LOI) not potential RECRUITS.

Please Add Your School's signings to the list.

  1. Londell King signed with Southern today (Apr 30) at his high school at about 12:00pm Central time. It was released by his high school head coach on Twitter.
  2. Shaquille Benson appears to be headed to East Central Miss CC. ECMCC's assistant coach welcomed him to the program via twitter about 12 days ago. I won't speculate on what might have happened.
  3. Shylar O'Bear will also be apart of the women's program.

Also a kid from Texas St, that's from BR. I assume he will graduate and be eligible immediately.

That's interesting, there's only one reason I would think that would allow a kid to sign an loi and then go to another school.

Wow. No comment!

I hope so. Our best two shooters are gone for various reasons and another guard is transferring (he wasn't that good IMO) so with Payne's system, we need good guards. Hopefully we can see what he can really do with his first full recruiting cycle and a new arena
