This was plan B for a lot of college players so I'm not happy to see this. And unfortunately a lot of them don't have the luxury really to focus on school and land an internship that leads to a really good job so they are at huge disadvantage upon graduation. If I see one more former athlete sell blank T-Shirts and sweats with a logo on them I'm going to scream lol ... but I get it, these boys got to eat.

The NFL stated that they would not be using this opportunity as a development league. That's where they will miss the boat on. It needs to be used as such for players, referees and coaches.

According to an NFL press release, learning and innovation around health and player protection will be a principal area of focus, with the XFL working with the NFL on forward-thinking physical and mental fitness programs, studying playing surfaces and equipment, and sharing game trends and data.

Which seems odd because the NBA has more black coaches per capita than the NFL, you would think it would be the other way around
