Word on Da Street Has it...

That two Channel 7 (WXYZ)broadcasters*** News Co-Anchor Carolyn Clifford and the Traffic broadcaster Monica Jackson. Got into an Off camera fight...

Word has it, that they don't get along and never have according to sources.

It was said that Carolyn never acknowledge Monica when it is time for her to do the traffic so on Monday morning during the 7am broadcast Carolyn once again did not acknowledge Monica to do the traffic.

So during a commerical they got into it and Carolyn got out from behind the anchor desk went over to Monica and slapped her. That started an all out cat fight.

Actually Carolyn was back on Tuesday but Monica has been placed on permenent leave. Monica's contract was up anyway so I don't think she is coming back.

This was a trip.

I didn't get a chance to see it. They have been clowning them on the radio. But supposedly, during one of the comerical breaks they were going at it, and even drew blood.

The TV station hasn't said a thing about it, and Carolyn Clifford was back on air yesterday. If she was scuffed up, her make-up people did a good job.
