Why does microwaved chicken taste like rubber?

You should always cover food in the microwave with a wet paper towel. It helps the food to not loose all of its moisture. Not just damo, but wet!

And this dude got the nerve to issue out hard brother awards, ole B. Smith, Martha Stewart wannabe.

That is not cooking knowledge. That is scientific knowlege!!! I am a biologist and I know these things!! Because I am a boderline genius!

This is exactly why you are not on my hard brothers list!!!

Chicken also has a "strange" little taste when it's cooked in the microwave. YUCK! I don't even heat chicken in the microwave because of the funny taste. Wonder why it changes the taste?

Suge now that I am an expert on the microwave :jump: it is the klystron technology that destroys the chicken and to offset the high frequency; as you stated use a wet paper towel.

Maybe you shouldn't use BLEACH to clean out your microwave...;)

Uhh, I have a question...

Should I kill and dress the chicken before I put it in the microwave ???

Just wondering.
