White Privilege Shapes The U.S.


Give the writer credit for at least recognizing what the great majority of white (and many blacks) refuse to acknowledge.

I read the column when it appeared in the Houston Chronicle a few years ago. This writer does not mense (sp??) words. But as controversial as this column is, his ones after 9-11-01 about US foriegn policy are evern more controversial.
 
I don't think whites don't know they have white privledge. They either don't care or think they deserve it even if they're not neccesarily racist.
