15 years and 6 JSU Presidents (interims included), the TALK continues.

For JSU, President Ron Mason says it's about "having a quality facility for our football program."
Mason said: "If that's a new stadium or a renovated Veterans Stadium, we'll work with what the state believes will make the most sense."

These people don't understand (especially the Johnny Come Latelys and outsiders) that it will always be just TALK as long as the state leadership is GOP. Not too keen about the Dems running it eitherbut we know the GOP won't do anything that will benefit black people here en masse (and the black "leaders" here are either powerless and/or puppets (Bennie Thompson))

you could sell out every game and make more money in a new 40k seat stadium. you build with expansion in mind.

You are not gonna get poor black people in Mississippi to pay $75-$100+ for single game tickets. Know your base

Well, if they don't want to pay $75.00 to $100.00, for tickets then they can stay at home. We have enough alumni and supportive fans that can fill up the stadium. People pay more for hair, nails, and sneakers...Prioritize!

Not only are Deion Sanders and Jackson State undefeated and nationally ranked — they appear to be moving the needle politically.

Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves was asked about Jackson State in the wake of its appearance on College Gameday. He not only spoke glowingly of Jackson State and Deion Sanders, but offered some level of optimism about building a stadium for the state-owned school

“Clearly, there’s more conversation ongoing about the stadium, and that’s something that we’re going to continue to want to look at and focus on and see where we’re going to head from here,” Governor Tate Reeves said.

Politics seem to always have their footS on the neck of Black progress, individuals and Blacks as a whole.

MISSISSIPPI politics is on another level when it comes to black progress. Everything they do is to keep black people down (Deion thought he would be different but he got his wake up call as well)

Look at how they are trying to take the Jackson Airport from Jackson and trying to privatize the Jackson water system after they got $600 million earmarked from Congress.
