GOOD AFTERNOON! This is the day the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY: (Lamentations 3:21-26) This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope. Through the LORD'S mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. "The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "Therefore I hope in Him!" The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.

MEDITATION FOR TODAY: God's mercy is boundless, free and -- through Jesus Christ our Lord -- available to us now in our present situation. (~ A.W. Tozer)

THOUGHT FOR TODAY: God doesn't always smooth the path, but sometimes he puts springs in the wagon. (~ Marshall Lucas)

A CHUCKLE FOR YOU: A crow was sitting on a tree, doing nothing all day. A small rabbit noticed the crow, and asked, "Can I sit like you and do nothing all day long?"
The crow answered, "Sure, why not." So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the crow, and rested. All of a sudden, a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate it.
Moral Of The Story: To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very high up.

BLESSINGS!

And on the fourth day they assembled in the Valley of Berachah, for there they blessed the LORD; therefore the name of that place was called The Valley of Berachah until this day. (2 Chronicles 20:26)
