what SWAC hbcu has the highest AIDS rate?

i was just wondering if anyone had an idea what schools stand out the most in the SWAC when it comes to that HIV and AIDS?
 
I hate 2 say it. But Valley has that beat. All of those people from Itta Bena and some from Greenwood from what I've heard.
I don't even mess with too many females on the yard because of the simple fact more legs stay open than Double Quick.

What's up this is a very serious that should be addressed with hard numbers and facts not speculation to say one school has more cases of Aids or Hiv is irresponible with out facts and figures I live in Louisiana a state that has one of the highest rates of Aids and Hiv in the country with that said of the 4million people in the state there are just over 4000 known cases of Aids & Hiv in the whole state even if you multiply that by 10 thats still just 1% of the state. So due the math and gather information on the subject it could help us all to gain more knowledge of the probelm.

Trying to figure out the HIV rate on any campus is guessing at its worst. First, campuses keep this information confidential (although I wish they wouldn't). The law is pretty clear in this matter: no one has access to it, unless the person volunteers it. Also, many may have HIV and never have been tested. Clearly, then, the official data is likely to contain an error.

We all know it's a dangerous world when engaging in sex. As always, I recommend that you know your partner (if that's possible) and that you take EXTRA PRECAUTIONS. Try to reduce your chances of catching anything as much as possible.

Nah...:p can't afford that. better to just avoid the campus altogether. Costs nothing, saves a life-your own.:D
 
MVSU, JSU, UAPB

MAN IF YOU GO TO VALLEY THE BEST THING FOR YOU TO DO IS KEEP IT IN THE PANTS.. IF YOU KNOW WHAT IS OUT THERE.... IT IS A HAVEN FOR STDS. LIKE MY OLD MAN SAYS PU$$ COME A DIME A DOZEN IT AING WORTH DYING FOR... 10 MINS OF PLEASURE FOR A LIFETIME OF PAIN.... YOU DO THE MATH........
 
All colleges are a haven for STDs; you have young folks getting together for the first time without worrying about their parents. Many of them are ignorant about the symptoms of stds. No college is going to put itself out by saying they have the highest AIDS rate in the country; that is dumb. Every year @ JSU it is always rumored how many pints of blood are destroyed each year because of HIV after the blood drives. Again I say rumored. I think everyone should get themselves tested and stay safe.
 
The AUC

Millhouse, as far as the list of HBCU's, in the spring the AUC digest published that Morehouse had a HORRIBLE rate. I'm curious how so since both Spelman and Morehouse practically give you everything from safe sex to no sex, to abortion info.

I hate this kind of foolishness. You can't give an answer to a question like this unless you go to every SWAC school and test EVERY STUDENT for AIDS. PERIOD. Anything else is just stupid rumoring. It's always done though.

Noise Talka has a point. That every school in the SWAC would have to be tested for this to be valid; however, back in 1997 a test like that was done for the white and black schools in Mississippi. And whoever mentioned Valley is correct. In 1997 and 2000, Valley was considered the highest. It isn't necessarily meaning the all the students on campus, but according to a an interview in 2000 with a AIDS specialist who came from Africa to specifically handle the AIDS problem in the Delta region, she said that the AIDS epdemic in Itta Bena, Greenwood, Cleveland, Grenada and Greenville reminder her of the AIDS situation back in her native land.
If you have been keeping up at all with the news, you know the AIDS epidemic is OFF THE CHAIN in Africa. And for a doctor to come from Africa and make that comparison to one particular, poor, black region is not only sad - but truly SCARY.

all of you azz wholes are stupid as hell for mentioning these lies. Every school on this planet, probably has someone with hiv. I lived in austin texas and they were reported with a high rate, but nobody knows for sure. Stop reporting lies saying that SU and Valley are the highest. STFU all of you clowns.
 
This is stupid. Who gives a rat's arse which campus has the highest AIDS rate? What you need to be concerned with is what can be done to LOWER the rate at ALL HBCU's!
