How will this affect PV A&M and TSU?

depends on who you target? This may be geared more towards hispanics than blacks as the students everyone wants will fall above the $65K threshold which is basically a grant. The ones under $30K will get full aid anyway.

UH has taken a quiet approach to surrounding the city with campuses with popular majors of the schools nearby. They have campuses in Katy, Clear Lake, Downtown and Sugar Land. The Katy campus will focus on nursing and engineering when a certain school 25 miles away already does that..hmm

there was a big ruckus on the NW Side about the campus off 249 that Prairie View A&M fought off but the powers that be got caught up in celebrating the win and didn't protect the Southern border and allowed them to fence them in from katy.

This will likely hit TSU enrollment wise b/c the marketing of this will sway away top black students unless TSU come up with a similar marketing plan.

But to be honest TSU can do the same thing and have done it ... it's basically giving every low-income student all the federal and state grants they're eligible for. I was one of those students and got them all which covered my tuition. UT Arlington is doing it but they just stop giving it a name.

White colleges are targeting blacks for the federal dollars. Athens St in this area has been running commercials about black male teachers and the free ride they can get. HBCUs better come up with a solution.

They can only accept so many students at the Central campus. I don't think it affects other local schools much when it's all said and done.
