UCF adds Florida A&M to 2019 football schedule

The UCF Knights have added the Florida A&M Rattlers to their 2019 football schedule, the school announced on Thursday.

UCF will host Florida A&M at Spectrum Stadium in Orlando during Week one of the 2019 season (Thursday, Aug. 29 – Saturday, Aug. 31). In their first and only meeting back in 1987, Florida A&M defeated UCF 19-14 in Tallahassee.

You mean Troy picked a good year to play FAMU. These PWI’s do their homework before they schedule HBCU. We are the ones who don’t turn down these prostitution papers after we have done our homework and realized what year these PWI’s are going to have dangerous squads.

Yeah this is the year that Troy is supposed to “put it all together,” but Simmons and staff still have a job to do...I like this match-up. Not because we expect to go in a dominate Troy, but because we get FVSU the week before to hopefully to work out some kinks, then get tested very heavily against one of the better G5 teams before settling into the FCS portion of the schedule.

Troy runs an Air Raid type of offense, which I believe JSU switched to this offense(am I right, Tigers). Playing Troy will give our defense a good look at it against superior talent.

Tell that to Kent State, Charlotte, ECU and UNLV. Apparently those schools failed to do their HW.

Troy lost key players from last year’s team. They will be replacing a 3 year starter at QB and a monster RB. They will not be as strong this year as last year’s team.

Man every single one of those teams had losing records lol. Charlotte won what, one game? UNLV is is garbage as is Kent and ECU hasn't done a thing since they joined the AAC. Troy is actually good, big difference. They beat LSU at home and the year before took #1 Clemson to the final seconds of the game. A game they should've won.

Troy didn't dominate the hornets last season. the defense wore down b/c the offense took the year off. any kind of offense for bama state and that could have been a touchdown game.

Here y'all go. A FCS program "upsets" a weak G5 program and forgets about their overall record vs FBS programs. The upsets also make y'all forget about the overall FBS vs FCS record for the year.

Do we really need to post all of the FBS programs that did their homework? I don't think we have the space on the website to type all of those programs. We might not have space to type the PF/PA numbers as well.
