Thom Hartman On The Racist History Of American Healthcare

Think about this. Many of the most important policies, institutions or events involved us or where we were a factor. Here is a list:

American Revolution
U.S. Constitution
Creation of the House and Senate
Abolitionist Movement
War of 1812
War for Texas Independence
Mexican American War
Fugitive Slave Act
Civil War
Black Freedom Movement - Civil Rights and Black Power
Second Amendment
Southern Strategy, which still exists
The fight for universal healthcare, which this nation does not have.

Of course that is not everything. It is not even close.

Gerald Horne is a better source for the War of 1812 than me.
