I DON'T POST MUCH ANYMORE, BUT HOW CAN I POST SOMETHING AT 6:00 am AND IT'S STILL ON TOP AT 1:30 pm. WITH PROBABLY LITTLE TO NO "REPLIES" AND ABOUT 40 "VIEWS". I REMEMBER WHEN THIS BOARD USE TO BE OFF THE HOOK. EVERYBODY WAS COOL AND POSTED ALL THE TIME. NOW IT'S AS DEAD AS A CHEWED OFF RICHARD.

REASONS WHY I THINK THE BOARD ISN'T THE SAME:

1. PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY DOING WORK AT THEIR JOBS

2. SO MUCH MESS HAS GONE ON THAT NO ONE CAN STAND EACH OTHER

Message boards not unlike dot coms, tech stocks??

Major initial activity and then a plateau effect.

All the metrics (i.e., no. of views, no of replies,,,) probably magnify the activity and/or lack of activity more so than in the early days.

I thought it was a summer thing. I was thinking we would see a spike in activity now that fall semester is upon us, don't know. :idea:
