Without a doubt the G-men and JSU are the cream of the crop so far in the SWAC. The big games coming up will be JSU vs SU and JSU vs the G-Men. JSU will have to be favored over SU while the G-Men will have to be favored over JSU. Without a doubt the #1` team in the SWAC will be determined on the field. JSU will clinch the SWAC EAST this Saturday against Bama State. JSU does have an achilles heal and that's not having a place kicker. Sooner or later it's gonna cost the Tigers.
Arkansas Pine Bluff vs TSU - Look for the boys from Bill Clinton's hometown to prevail. TSU is going nowhere. Look for those two big backs to run to daylight quite often against TSU's Tigers. Tiger have been disappointing so far this season. Things won't improve in Pine Bluff.
JSU vs Alabama State - Coach Cole should have saved some of those points he ran up on our lady of the poor [JCS] for his travel to Jackson. It's homecoming for the Tigers. It ain't gonna be nice for Bama State Jelly. Kent is on fire and has moved to being the #1 qb in the SWAC this year. It won't be Cole bloodied, but Coach Cole and his Hornets getting bloodied. This game will be over by half time. JSU is headed to the back to Birmingham.
PVU vs MVSU - A game of also rans. Look for PVU to prevail over the Valley at Prairie View. It's now or never for the Panthers. Coach Dorsey will have them ready.
SU vs Alabama A&M - Homecoming for the Jaguars. Last year the Jags were all pass and nothing else. Look for the Dog Day Defense to shut down the Bulldogs. Bulldogs have to be down and out after last weeks lost to JSU. Jags will prevail especially the offense after their debacle against Tulane. Levy and company have a point to prove. By the way the natives are getting restless on the bluff.
Alcorn vs Bye - Coach Thomas better regroup fast. Time is running out.
