Republicans are pulling out every stop to suppress Voting Rights. They are trying to change the narrative for what happened on January 6th. Republicans don't want true American History taught.

To hell with the American people, therir only focus is on obstructing President Biden. By obstruction, they wish to make the citizens lives a living hell by getting us so angry with the Democrats that we either don't vote or vote Republican.

They have their zombie like base and are going after us. DONT FALL FOR IT!!!

HOLD PRESIDENT BIDEN AND THE DEMOCRATS ACCOUNTABLE. If they are not living up to their promises, start vetting replacements NOW!

I have come to the conclusion that the ultimate goal is to get Trump back in the White House. If we sit back it will happen (THOSE 74 MILLION ARE NOT JUMPING SHIP). HELL, EVEN LIZ CHANEY SAYS SHE WILL NEVER VOTE FOR A DEMOCRAT!

That is because the masses of us believed the hype and had some of the most boring civics teachers. No value was placed on civics nor history by design (economics was swept under the rug too). This world is controlled by Economics and Politics. The citizens of this country are the most powerful in the world, but don't know how to use it.

You just now figuring that? Everybody else saw that a mile away. 300+ voter bills offered by Republicans and not one gun bill after 140+ shootings.

The war for 2022 and 2024 does NOT start in those years. The war has been ongoing.

What folks forget is just showing up to keep Trump out is only part of the battle. The battles that really matter are those elections for mayor, city council, governor, school board, judges, county commissioner and every other election black folks do NOT show up for.

Also with the tired nonsense of vote for whoever is BLACK. Some of whom end up doing the black community so dirty yet can get reelected nonstop. 74 million sheep voted for Trump DESPITE everything. How many black sheep do we have reelected the same worthless black folks into offices that do little to NOTHING.

I don't need a politician passing laws against black hair discrimination. That pandering to the echo black feminist's chamber. Where are the attempts to protect black children from child molesters and criminals who get put in rehab houses in black communities?

This is a very different situation than we've seen in the past. The Republican leadership detested Trump before he won the nomination. Initially they were party loyalists who went along because the voters had chosen him. The party has been taken over by the crazies similar to the takeover by the Southern democrats that changed the "Party of Lincoln " into its pre Trump form and began the process towards what we have today.

Initially they were glad to get rid of Trump, but something happened and they decided to "kiss the ring" swearing their allegiance to Trump, party principals be dayumed.

We know what happened to the first Reconstruction. Conservatives declared war on the second Reconstruction during the 1950s and '60s. Nixon had his southern strategy before and after his was elected. Dixicrats changed parties. Reagan had his southern strategy before and after he was elected. There were Florida in 2000 and Ohio in 2004. The Tea Party, Trump and his supporters carried things to another level. They declared their own war and made many republicans operatives under Nixon, Reagan and the Bushes look more "moderate" in a big way.

I will give him a little credit for what he did in the GOP primary in 2016. He took aim at the republican establishment on Iraq, social security, and the free trade deals. Note that Reagan promoted free trade, and NAFTA negotiations started under the republicans. The negotiations were finished under Bush. Clinton enthusiastically signed the treaty. Hence, many have forgotten Reagan's promotion of free trade. Many inside and outside of the GOP forgot what Reagan did to the country.

The problem is that this populism in 2016 was fake and phony. Most republican voters cannot see it.

Of course there are the changes in the demographics that do not favor the GOP. Republicans in many states went after the voting right after the SCOTUS ruled on the Voting Rights Act in 2013.

Some democrats are wanting a strong Republican Party. Well, they should be careful for what they wish for in politics. They need to look at what is happening to Kirsten Clark.

Republicans have the reasons for voting for republicans. Fewer and fewer will vote for a single democrat no matter what happens.

The Election War of 2024 Is Being Fought Now
This is not a fight over something like the minimum wage. This is a battle for the survival of the American republic and in a larger sense, it’s about the survival of democracy across the world.

Thom Hartmann

Republicans and their authoritarian supporters are working right now to steal the 2024 election and drop their 2020 treason into the memory hole. We can’t let them get away with it.

At the same time Democrats are trying to negotiate in “good faith” with Republicans about creating a “bipartisan commission” to investigate what happened on January 6th, Republicans are rigging elections in state after state and preparing for a total takeover of the American government. They’re even rehearsing ways to rewrite the Constitution.

This is war, but apparently only one side realizes it.

Democrats should forget about “bipartisanship” and either create a real investigative commission that has subpoena and other real powers or start talking about a Special Prosecutor or Independent Counsel with a grand jury that can do the job.

Following up behind white people is going to be the death of the race. We’re second class citizens in this country even now, but we don’t wanna accept that. Once we do, maybe we’ll put our heads together and figure something out.

That's why the Democrats must keep our base alert and engaged. We don't understand and are not encouraged to understand history.
The Dems don't care either. The first 100-plus days of this new administration and some of these Dems lawmakers are proving to be agents against change. They are gonna get embarrassed in 2022 and in 2024.

Hence the call to arms. In a way, it kind of brings to mind the reaction to the repeal of the Stamp ACT. The colonists got relaxed and partied so much that they missed the passage of what would become known as The Intolerable Acts. A similar thing is coming if we fall asleep at the wheel.

Are we ready for a Revolution?

I see this as the last gasp of the part of the country that is xenophobic and racist. the playbook has always to keep us from having a political voice. so we weren't afforded citizenship, then we counted as 3/5ths of a person. then we could vote, so they criminalized us and took away our right to vote and those they couldn't criminalize they bulldozed into doing their political will.
Now that they are on the verge of losing the minority, gerrymandering may not even be enough to keep them in power for much longer, so we are back to not allowing people to cast a ballot. so they are placing as many hurdles between us and the ballot box as they can. hoping you'll get tired and give up your right to a political say. It's hot and your thirsty? get out of line and go home. your old and someone from your church is taking several of you to the polls? Nah, can't do that. that's vote tampering. church bus on sunday? nope... can't do that anymore.
and if you still mess around and win, they are making it legal to just overturn the election results.

It also doesn't help when you have social media personalities telling folks not to vote unless they get something in return. I understand and agree with this idea, but this only allows the wrong people to get in office.

If we quit then we have nothing. No one who talks about quitting is producing one dayum thread of underwear or purchasing one acre of land for our people. They are not doing anything to get our people independent.
