The Longest-Lasting Cars to Reach 200,000 Miles and Beyond

417,000 I haven't rebuilt anything on my SUV

I did change the Cats on it and the fuel pump
The only reason I had to rebuild the transmission is because I was towing weight that was to much for a V-6 built in the 90's. It was really my fault for not having a transmission cooler put on it. They didn't put those on the 1996-1999 Ford explorer. If I had put one on it probably wouldn't have never had to be rebuilt. It made it to 350K never having the transmission fluid changed. Lol

You never changed the transmission fluid? wow

My '03 E-500 Benz had 286K on it, and ran strong, didn't smoke or leak oil, and got 27mpg on the highway...... until I had a wreck and they totalled it......

I'd still be driving that batch TODAY if I had it.....

My Taurus I put over 200K miles on it before it was retired

I have put over 100K miles on my Grand Am thus far.
