Fine Print of Stimulus Bill Contains Special Deals for Industries
:read:

Small banks, retailers and for-profit colleges got provisions they wanted. So did Boeing. Among those who could potentially benefit: President Trump’s company.

Tucked into the largest bailout in United States history — a $2 trillion federal stimulus package agreed to by congressional leaders and the White House early Wednesday in an effort to reduce the economic devastation of the coronavirus outbreak — are a range of provisions that stand to benefit specific industries and interest groups.

Even the fine print in a near-final 880-page version of the bill has fine print. Democrats proudly announced that they had won agreement on language to block President Trump, other government officials and their families from receiving assistance from a $500 billion fund to be administered by the Treasury Department.

But it turns out that the provision might not preclude funds from going to companies owned by the family of Mr. Trump’s son-in-law and White House adviser, Jared Kushner, while Mr. Trump’s companies would not be barred from benefiting from other elements of the bill intended to help broad swaths of American business.

For example, certain hotel owners, even those employing thousands of people, will be eligible for small-business loans, a provision that could potentially benefit Mr. Trump’s company to help to continue to pay wages for his employees. The Trump Organization could also benefit from the $15 billion change to the tax code won by restaurants and retailers.

As long as the Dems continue to bow down and kiss the ring, they will continue to lose. How you gonna delay the bill because of a $600 million slush fund with no oversight and that slush fund still made it in this package?

But when black people ask about reparations, we are told to wait on a study or "where the money will come from?"

SUPERMARKET THROWS OUT $35,000 OF FOOD AFTER CUSTOMER DELIBERATELY COUGHS ON IT

A Pennsylvania supermarket says it had to throw out tens of thousands of dollars worth of food after a woman purposely coughed on items across the store.

Joe Fasula, co-owner of Gerrity's Supermarket, described how their Hanover Township store had a "very challenging day" after a woman coughed on the fresh produce, as well as some of their bakery section and meat items.

Fasula accused the woman, who is allegedly known by police to be persistent problem in the community, of carrying out a "very twisted prank" amid the coronavirus outbreak. He said the store had no choice but to throw out all the items of food that she came into contact with.

"Although we have not yet quantified the total loss, we estimate the value to be well over $35,000," Fasula said. "I am also absolutely sick to my stomach about the loss of food.

"While it is always a shame when food is wasted, in these times when so many people are worried about the security of our food supply, it is even more disturbing."

Unemployment claims soared to 3.3 million last week, most in history

A record number of Americans filed for their first week of unemployment benefits last week, as businesses shut down to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
Initial jobless claims soared to a seasonally adjusted 3.28 million in the week ended March 21, according to the Department of Labor.
That is the highest number of initial jobless claims in history, since the Department of Labor started tracking the data in 1967. The previous high was 695,000 claims filed in the week ending October 2, 1982.

Can we blame this on Trump since he likes to claim unemployment fail before all this because of him?

I dont blame unemployment on agent orange, but I do blame him for the death panels that have been created due to the shortage of ventilators and protective gear for health care workers. I blame him for the death of a man in Arizona who listened to his lies about a treatment. I blame him for not taking this seriously and not preparing this country for whats coming. I blame him for calling it a hoax and lying everyday at his campaign rallies (press conferences).

His handling of this situation contributed to the job losses.

Joe Scarborough Slams GOP for Being ‘Ready to Euthanize’ the Elderly for the Economy

Joe Scarborough lashed out at conservatives who want Americans to stop self-isolating and return to work amid the ongoing coronovirus pandemic, accusing them of being “ready to euthanize” the elderly.

“Right now, these conservatives are making Democrats who are pro-choice actually look more pro-life because they’re only worried about the unborn,” he said on his MSNBC morning show Thursday. “It is the born — it is the weakest among us, it is senior citizens — who they’re ready to euthanize because they want Boeing’s corporate earnings to not dip too low.”

Scarborough referred to an article in the New York Times that said a lawyer close to President Donald Trump advised him to get the country back to work in spite of the ongoing pandemic because, well, old people die anyway.

New Orleans emerges as next coronavirus epicenter, threatening rest of South
By Brad Brooks

March 25 (Reuters) - New Orleans is on track to become the next coronavirus epicenter in the United States, dimming hopes that less densely populated and warmer-climate cities would escape the worst of the pandemic, and that summer months could see it wane.

The plight of New Orleans - with the world's highest growth rate in coronavirus cases - also raises fears that the city may become a powerful catalyst in spreading the virus across the south of the country. Authorities have warned the number of cases in New Orleans could overwhelm its hospitals by April 4.

With Mississippi being a main target due to Tater Tot refusing to shut down beaches and just about everything else outside of schools and casinos taking his cues from the So Called President
