The Black Coaches issue


Whitlock does make some good points. However, the bottom line is really that this is not an issue that enough people care about. That goes for folks inside the NFL and outside.

Active conspiracies must be identified and exposed. That simply has not happened yet. We have a lot of feeling and conjecture, but no proof. Until we do, the beat will go on.

Whitlock is right: someone will have to be willing to sacrifice his future involvement with the game and possibly public opinion if this thing is to come to a head.
 

I totally agree with Whitlock on this issue. If we want more black coaches in the NFL or in D-1A football, for players need to get more involved in coaching at all levels. If more high profile athletes got involved with their colliegete programs, then this problem would not be such a big deal because these guys are really the only ones that can put the pressure on.
