Made up for the skunk yesterday with this 25 inch red drum this morning.

Texas fishing is not good enough for you, huh?

LOL. I live in North Carolina.

I caught all of my fish on fishbites. I had bought this bait they said I needed for red snapper and did not get any bites so I switched to fishbites. This was a 12 hour trip. Four hours out...fish for four hours then four hours back. Only two snapper was not what I was looking for. I did not want any shark. There were guys at the dock who cleaned our fish for a 20 bucks.

I caught the drum on fish bites. I was using shrimp and finger mullet and said to myself I might as well try them because it can’t get any worse than it already was going. Ended the trip with the red and a sea mullet.

They are good. We call them Whiting. They are a good eating fish.

I bought a lamented sheet in Florida years ago at a bait shop that had all the different types of salt water fish. It helps me out when I do get a chance to sal water fish identify what I catch.
