And it has been that way for years. If you are lucky like Candace Parker or the darkskin WNBA player on ESPN, you can do side gigs on TV and not have to go overseas but most non-vets are planying for peanuts over here. That's why Diana Taurasi told them to kick rocks for a year when a Russian team paid her $1.5 million for a year.

The only benefit of playing in the WNBA is ESPN with easy access. That's literally all they got going for them

Candace Parker is a Pat Summitt Tennessee product. Just like Kara Lawson was. Pat just had them different.
