They will look at a admin or an engineer as long as they are not doing active directory, they want an admin or engineer that can write basic SQL and has worked on both Linux and Windows applications, MUST HAVE a degree, NO ON LINE degrees.
Minimum Requirements:
7 – 14 years industry experienceMicrosoft SQL Server knowledge (SQL 2005/2008, T-SQL query building)MySQL experienceLinux (CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat) and Windows Server experienceScripting ability (Ruby, Perl, VBScript, etc.)Experience with HP SW packages, including HPSA (Opsware), Sitescope, ArcsightFamiliarity with Networking technologies (TCP/IP, Firewall, VPN)Excellent time management skills, ability to adapt to multiple competing priorities and still deliver on timeExcellent communication skillsMentor junior members of the staffAbility to work in a team and communicate affectivelyAbility to lead meetingsAbility to influence across teams

As a Senior Tools Engineer, you will be a key member of a technical staff that is responsible for the systems and software that support our clients production Cloud/Hosting service offerings. They provide 24/7 data protection in a constantly growing and evolving environment. Design and recommend the architecture of the various toolsetsInstallation and maintenance of various HP and 3rd party software technologiesTroubleshoot problems and work with HP or 3rd party vendors to resolve issues in a timely mannerWrite scripts (Ruby, Perl, SQL etc.) for various ad-hoc tasksCollect and translate business requirements to provide solutions for the operations teamsAct as the lead on projects of moderate to large sizeDevelop and document procedures related to the duties and responsibilities of the position
