"In the Beginning"

2. What are the two main divisions of the Bible?
OT and NT

3. To what event does the title Exodus refer?
Errr, when Moses and the children of Israel were leaving Egypt

4. How does the experience of Paul differ from that of the
other "apostles" of Jesus? Isn't he the one who when God called him, he wanted to murder christians. He was convereted from his evil ways ... He became a great leader once he was turned around.

5. Why did King James write the Bible?
Uhhhh, Didn't he want it re-written because there were some changes to be made, like the mentioning of God's name.

6. What happens to Jonah after he is freed from the
belly of the great fish? I'm looking in my bible for this one, cuz I honestly don't remember. Oh, I just read the book. Umm, he was vomited onto dry land from the mouth of the fish. He went to Ninevah and obeyed God, but he became angry at God. Whew! This is a good lesson. Jonah was taught that God cared about the Ninevites just as Jonah cared about the vine which provided shade for him.

Matt. Mark, Luke, & John
15. What is the characteristic way of life of John the
Baptist?

16. What is the particular status of Abraham in the
tradition of Israel?

18. What is Samson's official position in Israel? Ruler. The one with the hair. What strengths and weaknesses does he bring to the office?

19. Who is Solomon? King who helped 2 women decided the ownership of a child.

20. "The Devil tempts Eve and she eats the apple." Is this
in the Bible? Where? In what terms?
She didn't eat an "apple" She gave fruit from the Forbidden Tree to Adam. It is in Genesis at the very beginning. The bible did not say Apple. They only said fruit.

This is showing me how much I have forgotten and how much more I need to read. Geesh! :-(
