Greetings P.V. Alumni,
For the first time since 1964, when the Panthers went 9-0, the football team is off to a 2-0 start. That's right UNDEFEATED and leading the SWAC. Next up are the Jaguars of Southern University.

The Houston, TX chapter of the Southern University Alumni Association would like to formally invite the prestigious alumni of Prairie View A&M University to join us and our University representatives, as we celebrate with a pre game party at the Double Tree Hotel on Post Oak Blvd. in the Galleria area. The time of the event will be from 7 pm-until in the Ball Room of the hotel. Please join us in our pre game festivities as we party like only the SWAC can. We are asking that all attendees make a $10 donation at the door. There will be a cash bar, live DJ, and a lot of spirited socializing so come out and support your school. Spread the word and don't forget to wear your dancing shoes.

The party was still strong even though it wasn't a celebration for victory, it was still a celebration for having a good time.
