Interesting editorial. I've asked Repub. friends of mine why Reagan gets free passes on a lot of issues from homelessness (his mental health policies contributed heavily to that) to Iran-Contra (violation of US Constitution, US Law, and International Treaties) to this.

They respond that he has Alzheimer's. :shame:

Reagan got a free pass while he was in office. It did not matter. You name it. He got the free pass. Bill Clinton could only dream to get the press that Reagan got. This is why Reagan was called the telfon president.

This is an excellent article. Thanks for posting it.

However, I will not hold my breath on them changing.
