I wrote the UIL many years about excluding Show Bands from the competitions and the response I got was, "What?" I left it alone.

I believe it. But if those east texas schools can bring those tired ass military style shows to uil and be judged then so should showstyle

Hell you got Hardin Jefferson that used to do pattern of motion drills. There's no reason UIL couldn't have done this long ago. It's just ignorance.

Man, I went to a game Arlington yesterday and the bands were horrible. I mean horrible even for corp style band standards. I came from a corp style high school band and what I saw yesterday was terrible.
