Prime said JSU planted the Flag on our Logo



Perfect. “Apology” video released and no suspensions here. 😎 Now SU fans can move on because they feel good about why their team attacked us and continued to follow and attack after the scuffle was broken up. Our team was on our sideline & walking in front of our fans/band to celebrate & sing Jackson Fair.

This played out perfectly.

True, nothing was planted. But you do not stand on another teams logo and wave flags. If Southern had done this on the Jackson State logo, we would hear haters of Deion and jealous of JSU. But now it is in your favor and it is OK. It is an unwritten rule, you do not disrespect another team logo and Coach Prime knows that and he rightfully apologized. Took away from a great game that we watched.

I thought this was just flat out common sense especially between those two schools. You just don't do it.

I thought this was the common sense board whereas on Facebook, it's Dei-Hive tomfoolery 24/7.

Trust me. Teams have long memories in the SWAC so all the flag planting and posing for pics sleeping will come back (see this Spring with Alabama State)

nobody said anything was ok. I was specifically speaking to the poster and his headline. Su folks always wanna play victim. Them people were disrespectful the entire time we were there by throwing trash at players, spitting on em, and their band director talking shit and cussin at them during halftime walking to the locker room. We took it on the chin so they should be able to take a flag being waved on the chin too. You can’t disrespect people for so long and expect the disrespect not to return to you at some point.

Regardless, it all was stupid and everyone will be alright. Let’s move on from this already lol

Our coach is being the bigger coach & putting this behind us. We have bigger & better things to do unlike su who’s sitting around crying & not taking ownership of attacking our team because they don’t like the way we celebrate. SU’s administrators are showing that they are sore losers and can’t own up and speak out on their part in this. Their coaches encourage fighting & our coaches allowed our team celebrate in a manner that losers can’t take. Next time win the game and you won’t have to worry about JSU hurting your feelings.

Bruh the SHIT that SU did to our fans, band & team was beyond disrespectful but these fools crying over a FLAG 😂😂😂

Their fans were calling our dancers B’s & Hoes. Lol that’s why this is so funny. We took that classless garbage from them and kept it going and won (band and football). We know how they act in BR. It’s in their DNA. We already knew this but our new football (who knows nothing about su) had to learn how ignorant they act in BR when we roll in town.
 
Coach Prime knows what's up at SU and the type of program we have. He remembers when the Spring when Coach Odum's wouldn't allow the Jags to "Bury Them" as he stated. JSU players are "someone's children" and it's wasn't necessary to destroy a Team who was already beaten.

No reason to lose your own class and dignity with that kinda language. One of the good things about the HBCU boards was they didn’t permit that in the past, but the standards have obviously slipped over here.
