What a blunder by the catcher to not know about the drop 3rd strike rule. Umpire never called the batter out and he took off for 1st base. The other runners kept running after they saw the other team celebrating and scored the winning runs.

Not the same thing. The umpire blew the call. The catcher caught the ball.

There was only one person on the losing team that knew it was only 2 outs and the catcher never tagged the batter

Sadly I've seen this with my own eyes recently smh (Valley and FAMU both wore pink uniforms for volleyball)

Good thing only had to deal with that for about an hour

I played high school baseball with a guy that would throw people out going home from center field. He had a cannon for an arm. He played for the Pittsburg Pirates major league team.
