Kalia Brown’s score in the 56th minute from teammates Gina Zaval Dejas and Alexis Mack secured Prairie View A&M its first ever Southwestern Athletic Conference Soccer Championship in program history on Sunday afternoon, 1-0 over Howard at the PVAMU Soccer Complex.

With the victory, the Lady Panthers improve to 13-7 on the season and receive an automatic bid into the NCAA tournament starting Nov. 15, while Howard ends its season 14-4 overall.
