Perry names Williams as Texas State System regent

AUSTIN ? Gov. Rick Perry has named an Arlington woman to the Texas State University System board of regents.

Perry on Friday announced Donna Williams will serve until Feb. 1, 2011.

Williams is vice president and program manager of Parsons Infrastructure and Technology.

She earned a bachelor's degree from Prairie View A&M University.

Williams replaces Don Flores of El Paso.
