Alright, Patti LaBelle's new CD is definitely worth purchasing! Please add this one to the collection.

I'm guessing since ol' girl got divorced she had A LOT of stuff to say. She pours her heart into the lyrics in those songs. She's got a song with Floetry that is tight. And the one with Carlos Santana is addictive, "When You Smile". Lyrics are beautiful.

She did a great job of staying true to her classic 'style' while also attracting a younger audience.

I got it at Wal-Mart for $11.88...
 
I heard bits and pieces of it yesterday on the TJMS. Tom was interviewing her. I love me some Patti LaBelle honey. She is the schiznit. :tup:

I'm going to pick that one up myself.
