I think he is saying let them compete rather than being so quick to put a redshirt on them. But aint no telling what BH is really trying to say. LOL

Except for a handful of players at a HBCU you can build on reshirts. Some players need more time to develop because they don't have stars by their name. However, if they can play they should I agree.
 
I agree Sting and I hate to have made that comment. I'm going to remove because he is very good at being a thread highjacker.

That's the name of the game right there. Sometimes in recruiting we get caught up in star-ratings (which are BS) and performances of players returning. In reality, you have to recruit to make your weak areas stronger and increase your overall talent level and depth.

Sometimes the "less sexy" recruiting class turns out to be a pretty damned good one three to four years later
