hmmmm....looks like i was right on with the way tonight would turn out. If Valley plays the rest of the season like they played Saturday night it's gonna be rough. If that Grambling score holds up....looks like we have a tie for 1st place again. LOL.

Grambling sends Valley reeling 83-69

ITTA BENA ? Grambling smoked Mississippi Valley State 83-69 Monday night, putting the Delta Devils back into a first-place tie in the Southwestern Athletic Conference.

Brion Rush poured in 31 points for the G-Men, 6-13 and 4-5. He made 6 of 9 3-pointers as the Tigers knocked down 12 of 21 as a team.

Solomon Forbes scored 23 points and Charles McGhee 14 for Valley, 13-6 and 7-2.

Like I said even befroe the JSU game, I could care less about the regular season, because u can have the best record in the world, and get to the SWAC Tournament and lay a goose egg (ex. PV last year). They won all them games, and got to the tournament and got beat to sleep. There are NO dominant teams in the SWAC. Everybody wanna jump on and off the Valley bandwagon, but I told u if we hit our 3's we can play with anybody, but when they bull**** like they did Monday Tim's Toothless Toddlers can beat us.
