You may remember, on July 4, 2009, NFL star Steve McNair was fatally shot by his mistress, Sahel Kazemi (seen below), in a murder–suicide. Well, that’s when the drama started between his wife and mom. McNair’s wife Michele cut his mother out of her grandchildren’s life. We've talked before about priorities and taking care of business and let's face it, Steve did not. This is not new. It happens in many families...somebody told somebody something before they died BUT they didn't make out a will or ;put it in writing. And really, with all his dough, how hard would it have been to put it in her name, create a trust to take care of taxes and maintenance? Not hard...BUT he didn't. And like many others that live double lives, when they die, the spouse gets it all.

They had a situation in a neighboring town. Man and wife did the separated for life thing. He was living with a new woman in their old house. Bought cars in his name and furnished it lavishly. He died. The wife showed up with a locksmith, tossed out the woman and the man's children and moved right back in AND took the new car. GF is like o_O. But that was his closest relative. Sheriff suggested gf go calmly because the spouse was in the right legally. I tell folks all the time, You will NOT live forever, and not making out a will won't stop death. Make your wishes known in black/white and get your ducks in a row.

So instead of being mad at the ones living, be mad at the ones not doing what they needed to do to see that life was lived out like they wished.
 

When those kids get older, they're going to hate their mom from keeping them from their Grandmomma and that side of the family.
 
I believe all these kids are teenagers now...they should have enough sense to know the deal and the whys and how to call their granny on their cell phones if they want to ....I mean the know how to do everything else...
 
It basically sounds like you're attempting to give the trifling woman a pass because she's a woman.
 
I read on another site essentially the money McNair left is tight and his wife just told his mother she needs to pay the $3,000/month rent.

Yeah...it SOUNDS trifling but if the wife can't afford to pay the $3,000/month then what else is she supposed to do? :noidea:
 
This is why black women are dogged out and most successful brothers don't want their azz. Yeah it is funny, but even a blind man can see how it is hurting black women and their future. One day these women gotta wake up and see why they are they largest group of divorced and single women in the world. It is in black and white. One of these broads gotta break the perception and image they have.

This is some really whack analogizing here Cee. In case you missed it, here it is paraphrased: Steve ****ed up and got killed by a sidepiece who many say Mama McNair let stay at The Farm. :noidea: Sidepiece kills Steve who...like many men, didn't take the time to make out the will and for some reason didn't give his mama the title/deed to her house (maybe trying to play the system if she was on a fixed income...see how that worked out right?). Nevertheless, no wil = wife is the next of kin. So wife and chirren get what's left and no provision for mama.

So...when folks fukk you over, you usually aren't gratuitous to them. Surely if you wife was killed by her lover and her mama was letting them use the house her money bought for a fukk pad, once you get her millions and find out you own the house also, you'd be so benevolent you'd let her stay...in a million+ dollar house...giving her the last laugh...:lol: yeah right.

Michelle had her husband's back...too bad he was spending so much time blowing other's backs out. I know some will say Karma will come back and she will reap what she has sown, blah, blah, blah...but how about this: Karma HAS come back and reaping of what has been sown has already shown up...with Steve. She hung in there for a reason: She ACHIEVED! :swink: Her place is at the top of the totem pole and well, tops of totem poles have their perks...and she is definitely getting them all--with no filters. :lmao:

And no morals :lol:...we talking about Steve McNair and his wife...we can't use morals and Steve McNair in the same sentence.....from all accounts she had his back/was down like 4 flat tires...but he didn't give her the same...but :idea: maybe....he did...hence the no will so she got it all for all her dedication....damn, I don't even have to do a HALF here! :tup:

What many fail to realize is: She isn't inheriting money...it was already THEIRS together. Married = what's yours is mine and whats mine is yours. without a pre-nup, this is just settling of the estate cause as his wife, she WAS gonna get the bulk anyhow..so the lifestyle was already established...and really, can she do any worse than a MULTImillionaire with no will? Come on...
