Martin Triplets to Appear on the ?Oprah Winfrey Show?
Jackson State University alumni Warren, Deshun and Kenya Martin are scheduled to
appear on the
Oprah Winfrey Show at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 10. The show airs locally on
WJTV-Channel 12 Comcast Channel 13.

The triplets, who graduated from JSU in 2001, gained national attention once they took
and passed the Mississippi State Bar together in 2004.

The brothers will travel to Chicago along with their wives and mother, Elinder Martin, who
after her husband?s death raised the triplets and their two older brothers alone.

?This is a wonderful experience for us,? says Warren Martin, an attorney with Sweet and
Associates in Jackson. ?The opportunity to meet Oprah is fantastic. We know about her
connection to Mississippi and feel privileged to use her show to tell our story again.?
Kenya practices law at Watkins, Ludlam Winter & Stennis Law Firm in Jackson. Deshun is
an attorney with the Mississippi Office of the Attorney General and leads a Pre-law &
Professional School Program at Jackson State.

Black women are wonderful...How could you ever want anything else? That's an amazing story...I bet she's living the high life with 3 children who are attorney's. Good Job Ms. Martin:tup:

Their mother made them go to school the day their daddy died....

Apparently he died between midnight and 6am, but she made them go to school (that day) anyway.
