A Monroe man is facing multiple drug-related charges after a traffic stop.
According to an arrest report for Daniel Modicue, age 26, a deputy stopped Modicue's car because a tinted license plate cover was obstructing the view of the plate.
Per the report, the overhead light came on prior to the vehicle stopping, and the driver was making furtive movements.
During a search, deputies located a loaded stolen handgun with an extended high-capacity magazine in the spare tire area of the trunk.
A black bag in the same location held approximately 19 individually packaged suspected marijuana cigars.
The suspect told deputies about a pill bottle in his buttocks holding various pills and retrieved the bottle.
