Ntelekt

Mr. Telephone Man (1975)
...for the latest installment of Ntelekt's MUSIC MONDAY!
The feedback thus far has been great, so let's keep it going! :D

Let's see....

Think back when an artist (let's call him Peabo New School;)) does a remake of a popular song from back in the day. Everybody is feelin' Peabo's "new" version, and it's mad airplay.
A few weeks later, some ignorant, uninformed fan of Peabo's happens to hear the ORIGINAL version of the song then has the audacity to say:
"Who is this that redid PEABO'S song????"
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!

But anyway, there are some artists who DO make some hellified remakes, and gives much justice to the original artists. Every once in a while, a new artist can take an "unpopular" song and make it a big hit. :)

Okay, peoples...I'm asking your opinions of songs that an artist redid, and made it their own. The kind of song that is almost as good as the original...or even better.
Let's see everybody's TOP SEVEN 'REMAKE' LIST!!!

Aiight....you know what to do! :D
