Deeeeep In The Delta.....
I forgot that sports betting became legal in Mississippi a little over a month ago with one of the casinos here (Harlow's) having it
Valley was a 41 1/2 point underdog against North Dakota. Unless you were from Valley, no one thought that we would have "only" lost by 4 TDs. Howard and A&T also messed up a lot of betting lines lol
I saw someone on another board mention about how this could be the (unseen) windfall that our schools need. The more people that bet on games like these early in the season, the more attention that we get (including more action meaning more people watching and betting on our games)
Do you see this as a realistic way for our schools to benefit from this?
Random lines:
SWAC
Tennessee State (-18 1/2)
Northwestern (-2 1/2)
Jacksonville State (- 44 1/2)
Sam Houston State (-18 1/2)
UNA (-15 1/2)
Alcorn (+43 1/2)
MEAC
NCCU (-34 1/2)
BCU (-47 1/2)
A&T (-20)
JMU (-40 1/2)
St Francis (-18 1/2)
Random D2 line
Albany (-2 1/2)
Tuskegee
