Yes! I work in education and had been paying on it under a forgiveness program for about 4 years. A BIG chunk of mine was knocked off and I didn't even do anything beyond filling out that initial forgiveness application that was circulating about 2 years ago. I didn't even notice that a sizable portion of it had been deleted until around this time last year and it had been taken off since the end of 2021!

I received my letter. It was just for the principal. I had like 20-30k of interest added to it. This whole education system is smoke and mirrors

My old lady had her forgiven 60K last Friday. She called an they said they had been paid off as of last Friday by the Biden bill. The lady told her it depends on the type of loan you had that is being paid off.

Since I work for a local government, I applied for the PSLF (Public Service Loan Forgiveness) one. I have worked for Government agencies for over 20-25 years. The program only requires 10 years of service.

There are so many people complaining about people getting their loans forgiven. They are saying I paid mine off, so should everyone else.
