With the upcoming additions of Southern's Harold Carmichael, South Carolina State’s Donnie Shell and Texas Southern’s Winston Hill, the number of former NFL players with HBCU ties in the Pro Football Hall of Fame will increase to 34 among 17 different HBCUs.

Now if we can get LC Greenwood, Otis Taylor, Too Tall Jones, Ken Riley, Albert Lewis, Everson Walls, Grey Lloyd, Isaiah Robertson, Lemar Parrish that are fellow HBCU's in along with Drew Pearson, Lester Hayes, Tom Flores, who has a winning record against Bill Cower, Randy Gradishar, Harvey Martin, Don Coyell.
