Sharon Warren portrays Aretha Robinson, Ray's mother. Sharon was Miss Black and Gold Alabama in 1994, and Miss Alpha South in 1995. She was a student at Stillman College at the time. If I'm not mistaken, Sharon is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. I knew this young lady had a bright future when I met her 10 years ago.
