I have seen girls literally scared to tears and death right before they go out to do their tryout in front of all those shat talkers. :lol:

That's actually not the problem and we never operated as a "frat"...a line was the guys who tried out and made the squad...you then became a team and the line basically marks when you joined to organization ie. Fall 2K7...your "crossing" was being good enough to make it into an actual show through more tryouts...and that's it.
Everything else we did was fun...NO HAZING INVOLVED...now I don't know the situation with the girls right now as I graduated and don't really know any of them like that, but from what I'm hearing, it's just a lot of allegations...apparently somebody got their feelings hurt at some point and went crying to mama...I'm also skeptical about that info.
I'm just waiting for all of the info to be released before I hop on either side.

Mane, I don't know about now but that old gym for cheerleading and J-Sette tryouts WAS HAZING! You had to be talented, fine and HARD just to try out.

Maybe they should just do away with all auxiliary groups at FAMU for about 5 years. They just don't get it. How dumb do you have to be to engage in hazing...whether it be physical, mental, done in fun, etc after what you went through last year????

As a journalist, these are key words to pay attention to....that means that the student told her parents that's what happened and they are trying to figure out the truth...that's why I say don't jump to conclusions.
BTW, this group has never had any problems in past in regards to hazing or any allegations of hazing...so also keep that in mind.

It seemed that their rule system was seriously flawed because they had people marching in the band that were not enrolled and now the dance group had no advisor THEN on top of that was the fact that you had band members in the band for 5 and maybe six years Also along with the fact that you corrupt officials embezzled money from the university show just how, maybe, despite his death it brought about a much needed change.

Still won't see what...I acknowledged the got damn investigation...EVERYBODY sees that. And just when the hell did I ever say they weren't guilty...I just said hold off on judgement. People always believe the worst case scenario.

If hazing went on, those students will e kicked out and prosecuted. And they won't be the last. There will be plenty of more examples set. Nothing worse is happening at FAMU than anywhere else, but we are in the spotlight and have to deal with it. Zero tolerance at FAMU going forward.
