Essence Mag is black owned again

They need to continue to find ways to make it profitable beyond the magazine.

There are writers complaining about Ebony not paying them.

I’m think Ebony and Essence need to find something other than the magazines to be the flagship of their brands. Or look at the NY Times and other publications who have leveraged social media to make their print media profitable.

Yall are going to have to pardon my ignorance, but I did not know that Essence Magazine was own by Time Inc. I guess I should not be surprised.
