CUT AND PASTE.........

Why is it when you cut and paste an article that when you try to cut and paste another article,the first article keeps coming up?
What am I doing wrong?

I'm highlighting the second article and then clicking paste because when I click copy,nothing happens.Am I suppose to save each article to some kind of clipboard? If so, please explain.
 
You have to highlight it and then click copy, you click paste where you want the copy to go.
