constant browser refresh

I have to refresh my browsers 3 to 4 times on every thread to see the thread pop up and this happens on both firefox and IE......is it me or it's a site-wide issue?

Daily and weekly backup are routinely run this time every day. This can impact server performance. It is temporary. About 2-3 hours.
