Chicken Gumbo Recipe

3 c chicken broth
1 c cut up chicken
1 c diced tomatoes
1/3 c rice
1/4 of a bell pepper, chopped
1/4 of an onion, chopped
1/2 c corn
2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic salt
Make sure you use cooked chicken; put all ingredients in a pan, bring to boil, simmer until rice is done.

This is the Gumbo Base. I use it to prepare my gumbo. It makes preparing a gumbo easy and quick. You don't have the worry with preparing a roux.
You should be able to find it in the national grocery store chains.
