19K is still a bigger number than many non HBCU teams see in FCS vs FCS contest.
More than what would have been on either campus to see it. The Chicago Classic is an annual thing. They paid and convinced the schools to play in the game.

No diss intended for either school. I just recall the Classic mostly
being SWAC school...until recently that is.

Not going to happen. Some SWAC schools aren't going to approve 12 hour bus rides for it's students, they want charter airline flights.

But Alcorn flew to that game. And GSU band flew too.
JSU will be flying to INDY for the Circle City Classic.
