19K is still a bigger number than many non HBCU teams see in FCS vs FCS contest.

TRUE! But THIS classic is used to bigger numbers than this. IJS.
No diss intended for either school. I just recall the Classic mostly
being SWAC school...until recently that is.

Grambling vs Clark ATL was 16,429.
UAPB vs TXSU 04 HOW THEY had 25000 even idk.

Grambling vs Alcorn 1999-
18,070

Southern vs Mvsu 2007- 49872

Hampton vs. Howard (Chicago, IL): 19,425

Not going to happen. Some SWAC schools aren't going to approve 12 hour bus rides for it's students, they want charter airline flights.

Grambling just played in it a couple years ago.

The Tigers, who have lost 18 straight games to NCAA opponents, were coming off of a 48-0 loss to Alcorn State in the Circle City Classic at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis Oct 13 after making an exhausting 17-hour bus trip when tensions hit the breaking point during a contentious meeting with the administration last Tuesday.

Different game and season. It was in 2017 when Grambling was good.
