Charging the Band?

This is the first time I've heard of any conference doing this. What do you think?
I wonder if TCU charged UAPB this year for their band to attend the game or charge PVAMU next year?

Big 12 Conference schools will charge league football opponents admission for each member of the visiting school's marching band. Why is this happening now?

It does not surprise me. Especially now a days, in my generation. Price, cost, and Money will ruin everything. I have absolutely no faith in the future strictly because things are getting very very hard with even just the cost of living now, Everything is going up, But Pay/salaries aren't going up.

It started with putting bands in the endzones , then upper decks or on the fields in harm's way.

Some SEC university have been doing this for years. This is why u never see 300 plus members on the road. I know LSU has a travel band for football like 100 member .
