President George W. Bush pauses after announcing from the White House that the U.S. and Britain had started bombing Afghanistan, October 7, 2001. Bush said that the bombing was carefully targeted to disrupt terrorist activities in Afghanistan. Also in his announcement, he wants to make sure all americans continue to get back to normal operations he speaks particular to the resident of Jackson, Ms.
