Breaking News: Grambling Hires New AD

Grambling State has hired former South Carolina State head football coach Willie Jefferies as its new athletics director. His role is to officially begin at the start of the new year pending ULS board approval.

Didn't realize that you guys was looking for an AD. I have met Jefferies, he's good guy. Is he in for the long haul or just transistional, he's already retired once from coaching.


Does this mean you won't hire a football before then?

If I were Spears, I'd be updating my resume' right about now. Inclusive of that alleged "advanced" degree he received. The handwriting was on the wall this past summer w/ the prezy's hiring.
