VERY interesting indeed. Great stuff. So looks like blacks may be making a comeback in the ranks over the next 50-100 years.

Of course, there are a lot of Asians, Indians, and Africans teaching at our schools presently......

Are the numbers of black profs at HBCUs on the decline?

The decline started and was noticeable years ago. But if more of our people get doctorates, expect more of us to be teaching at White and Black schools.

I think it depends on what field you decide to pursue. Many large corporations are paying people to come work for them. I see companies like Booz Allen, SAIC, Halliburton, CACI who want to better their image hire african americans to supply certain needs to the government. Especially African Americans with research based degrees.
