Alabama anticipates full house for fall football

These people are straight-up delusional if they think the conditions would permit 100,000 people inside the stadium.

Byrne tweeted a short statement after news earlier in the day that the school would be returning to in-person instruction without restrictions on classroom capacity in the fall. Byrne said they will continue to monitor medical guidelines "as we have all along."

Alabama reduced its capacity to 20% last season as COVID-19 spread, infecting millions of Americans. Infections have dropped significantly of late.

Last Friday, the Centers for Disease Control reported a seven-day average of 66,348 infections in the United States, which was down roughly 10,000 from the previous week.

According to data from the New York Times, Alabama has among the lowest vaccination rates in the country, with 13% of people receiving one shot.

I've been saying that Jackson is basically a larger version of Flint but it took the winter storm for everyone to see that

Jackson is only symbolic of a larger decades-long issue of America's infrastructure decay. The country's underground pipes are tremendously outdated and in desperate need to repair. Unfortunately, it takes disasters and significant weather events for these issues to be highlighted and rectified.

Our states are ran by redneck republicans that don't believe in science and common sense. Most people in Alabama won't take the vaccination b/c white republicans don't support anything that's actually good for the country and wanna spite Biden (just FYI Trump took the vaccine in Jan. but didn't tell the public) ... and black people really won't b/c the lingering effects of the Tuskegee experiment and lack of access to proper healthcare.

All of our states are run by governors who don’t give a shit about science.

We’re on our own. After tRump I thought everyone knew it. Just because tRump Republicans say it‘s okay to participate in large gatherings and eat in restaurants do not make me or my family do so.

Louisiana governor is an exception I just remembered but the state house and senate is Republican due to excessive gerrymandering
The governor there just eased restrictions to allow businesses, restaurants and salons to open to 75% capacity. Bars and restaurants (for indoor dining) are still open.

None of these folks damn care. Not Republicans or Democrats. They only care about the fucking economy despite cases increasing across the country at this very moment.

It was just announced on Tider Insider (WVUA Tuscaloosa News) that the statement was made to prepare fans for the largest crowd possible. With that in mind, that you can always lower the number to adjust to the situation at hand. Plus, that keeps ticket sales moving in the right direction. Also, it was announced that all classes would be back to full status. However, it could be adjusted based on the situation. Please note that Bama is a money making machine.

At this point, you got 2 options.

1. Take the vaccine
2. Stay yo black ass inside until you die.

We KNEW this was coming as soon as vaccines hit the door. Now the weather is warming up too?! Shiiiid.

You can harken back to the Tuskegee Experiment all you want (a legitimate grievance that doesn't apply to THIS situation) or partake in all the street corner conspiracies to your hearts desires.

But really and truly... you got 2 options. Because if you dont get the shots and think you can just skate by, good luck.

There is a term for this: social murder.
